Vacation Care

This room caters for 30 children aged from 5 to 12 years.

During holiday periods we develop a vacation care program run at the adjoining Family Centre. We take ideas from the children and educators in order to plan and facilitate a variety of experiences and opportunities. Incursions and excursions are sourced to coincide with children’s interests and developmental needs. Educators identify opportunities within the wider community to enrich children’s learning and incorporate these within the vacation program.

Excursion : We are going to visit the oldest fire station in Perth then take the ferry to South Perth for a play and lunch (Bring your own lunch)

I can’t believe I found the one! I’m absolutely over the moon I have found the perfect daycare for my children, they have been going here for a few months, at the beginning there was a few goodbye tears but the staff worked together with us and now my kids don’t blink a eye when I leave! That’s the best feeling to know your children love the place, they are happy and excited when you drop them off, sometimes they don’t want to leave.

Returning to work and starting my infant daughter in daycare was a difficult step for me, but the Mundarda team welcomed me in for at least half a dozen play dates in the weeks leading up to her starting care, and were also quite happy to offer half days, again assisting for a very smooth transition. I really appreciate how the nursery is so child centred, providing care to accommodate our exisiting home routines.

Mundarda day care is by far the best daycare in Perth. The girls are fantastic with my 1 year old and everytime we pull up out the front he has the biggest smile on his face. He has jumped in leaps and bounds since being at this daycare and Claire and the girls are always there to give support and help in anyway they can. I always know my son will have personal care as the girls take time to make sure they know each and every child individually. Thank you Mundarda!

Mundara child care is a lovely centre to send your children too. My daughter started in July this year in the nursery. The staff are very friendly,down to earth and wonderful. Mundarda was very helpful in accommodating us and our child. I would highly recommended this centre.
